Its been a while since I was last on here.
The Melatonin is working brilliantly an Dash is finally sleeping through the night.
We went on a 5 day trip to eurodisney on Paddy's week with a fabulous group of friends from Facebook who themselves have Ausistic kids, I dont think the staff nkew what had arrived, it was a mad few days which nearly saw me in a punch up with some twat who made a snide comment on one of the occasions when Dash screamed unexpectedly so i called him a F***ing idiot which didnt go down well, but he did appolagise to my wife arterward, Im just sick of the dirty looks, tutting and comments under the breath.
Last year I joined a Star Wars coustuming group here in Ireland called The Emerald Garrison, there was an event over the easter weekend in Dublin and i was able to arrainge a special session with the Vader man himself and a few other charicters from the movies and also a session in the Jedi Accadamy where they got to pretend to be real life Jedi, the feed back was brill and they all seemed to have a ball.
We got word a few months back that Dash was offered a place in one of the ABA Saplings schools, we had to think hard on this as he realy was settled in his other school but we felt that Saplings would offer more in terms of 1 to 1 tutition so we took the place. We realy were nervous about how he would adapt to the move but we need'nt have worried at all because he setteled right in, he loves it and is making some real progress.
